The Southdale Blues have finalized a deal with the Borderline Biscuits for the services of 20-year old reliever Brendon Wakely. In exchange, the Biscuits will receive 19-year old starting pitcher Howard Drake.

Officials for the Greenville Industrialists confirmed that they have traded 25-year old reliever Doug Olsen to the Southdale Blues. In return, the Industrialists will receive 22-year old right fielder Stanley Cobb and 19-year old third baseman Dan Anderson.
